We have fond memories of playing hide and seek with Ritchie - he always found the best places to hide bless him. Rest in peace with lovely Sam xxx

I last saw Ritchie at his flat in February, when he beat me at chess while devouring a Chinese takeaway! A top bloke, sorely missed.

He might have been called The Gunslinger, but that never prevented him from being one of the most open and approachable gentlemen I've had the pleasure to meet. I came into the club with almost no experience, yet Ritchie would always park himself opposite me when I was in need of a game. And while he didn't hold the punches (maybe playing a bit more rapidly to challenge himself!) he would take the time to patiently lead me through the traps and pitfalls I'd inevitably find myself in.
He had a lot of time for everybody, and everybody had a lot of time for him. He will definitely be remembered.
