He might have been called The Gunslinger, but that never prevented him from being one of the most open and approachable gentlemen I've had the pleasure to meet. I came into the club with almost no experience, yet Ritchie would always park himself opposite me when I was in need of a game. And while he didn't hold the punches (maybe playing a bit more rapidly to challenge himself!) he would take the time to patiently lead me through the traps and pitfalls I'd inevitably find myself in. He had a lot of time for everybody, and everybody had a lot of time for him. He will definitely be remembered.
